It’s your wedding and the content can be exactly as you would
like it to be. I will take you through all the steps you need to consider when
planning your ceremony -- offering guidance, advice and suggestions and
answering any questions you may have.
At our first interview we can fill out the Notice of Intention
to be Married. I need to ‘sight’ your original birth certificates, and if it is
a second marriage for either party, the original certificate of divorce or
death.
I will give you an information pack to take home that includes
examples of poetry, verse and readings. There are words for the Asking, Vows
and Ring Exchange. I will also give you a booklet of rituals that has 5
different wedding ceremonies. Also, a questionnaire to fill out which will
assist me in personalising your ceremony.
I will prepare the first draft of your ceremony and email it to
you to make any changes you wish. Please contact me as often as you wish –
either by phone or email. I will then prepare the final draft and email it to
you for approval.

A rehearsal is included in my fee, at whatever location is
suitable to you and your wedding party. I provide an excellent Public Address
System that ensures your guests will hear the ceremony, and a handheld
microphone if you wish family or friends to share a Reading or a Blessing. I
also have an MP3 player for your music.
I usually wear a headset and have a microphone for the Readers. It’s so
important that everyone can hear what is being said throughout the ceremony.
I arrive 45 minutes before the starting time and allow plenty of space
in-between other ceremonies I may be officiating at.
On the day you will receive your Marriage Certificate and a keepsake of the
entire ceremony presented on lovely parchment paper, bound in a beautiful
folder.
